The concept of the Video Downer (VD) is pretty straightforward. Most video synths operate on 0-1 volts for everything, including their modulation. Standard eurorack functions on a 0-5 volt standard, which is too much for video rigs. Enter the Video Downer. Simply run your eurorack modulation into the input, and run the output to your video synthesizer. The video downer automatically adjusts the voltage as needed! This is the 3U version, which packs 4 fixed attenuators into one 3U package. If you need a little less of a downer in your life, check out the 1U version!
